To celebrate World Environment Day, held annually throughout the world on June 5, the Dominican Environmental Film Initiative (DREFF) and the country’s National Film Archive will host free film showings on various environmental issues. The films will be exhibited, free of charge, from June 1 through the 6 at the Film Archive Cinema, situated in Santo Domingo’s Cultural Plaza.
The initiative is a collaborative effort carried out between the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and its Dominican Environmental Film Initiative, the National Film Archive and the General Film Directorate of the Dominican Republic (DGCINE).
