Meeting Place: Juan Pablo Duarte Culture Plaza

The International Book Fair of Santo Domingo 2008 will take place, as usual in recent years, in the Juan Pablo Duarte Culture Plaza, located in the heart of the Dominican capital.

The plaza is located in a beautiful park where hundreds of robust trees will provide shade and fresh air making the exchange of knowledge and book fair tasks all the more pleasant.

The cultural center is a complex comprised of a series of important buildings such as the National Theater, the Museum of Modern Art, the National Library, the Museum of National History and Geography and the Museum of the Dominican Man.

In and around these artistic and educational buildings there will be a variety of literary, intellectual and artistic activities taking place during the two weeks of the Book Fair.
