Iberoamerican University in Cap Cana Offers Career Workshops Ibero-Americana University (UNIBE), invited students from the region’s high schools to the Cap Cana campus to take part in their traditional Career Workshops. The proposals of the young people were very attractive and innovative. As such, the students were able to put into practice the methodologies they learned at the UNIBE workshops and to become familiar with the career offers on our campus. This time, they used modalities wherein students formed an important part of the workshops. Directors in the areas of Marketing, Business Administration, Tourism and Hotel Administration assigned the students the task of creating a marketing proposal for an important company of national recognition. The idea of the assignment was for students to having a feeling of belonging and understanding of our country and to motivate domestic tourism within the DR. The proposals of the young people were very attractive and innovative. As such, the students were able to put into practice the methodologies they learned at the UNIBE workshops and to become familiar with the career offers on our campus. UNIBE seeks to strengthen leadership among young Dominicans with the goal of training professionals and preparing them on an international competitive level, which will ultimately promote development in the country. |
