The Ministry of Education (MINERD) Director of Quality Assessment in Education, Ancell Schéker, informed that “The test took place in a normal way, and the drawbacks that arose were kept to a minimum and were resolved immediately. She also said that the results will be published in mid-July.” The process will end on Friday, June 29, with the administration of the natural sciences to secondary school students and to those who did not take it in previous years. On the third day of the test to secondary school students, which took place at Liceo Juan Pablo Duarte, there were 508 students from the Centro Educativo Católico Santo Cura de Ars, María Auxiliadora (night school) and Escuela Perú (day school). According to Education technicians Dileika Fabián, Rosa Elvira Pérez Ozuna, and Francia Tiburcio, everything took place normally and the turnout was massive. Meanwhile, 564 students were summoned to take the test at the Liceo Ramón Emilio Jiménez, where they were divided in morning, afternoon and evening groups, at the Travieso Soto school (night school), and also at the Prepara program for adults (both the regular and the accelerated programs), said Ridelina Novas Medrano, the technician in charge of the National Tests. At this school, which belongs to the 10-03 District, the turnout was well-attended, the tests were delivered in a timely manner, and the entire process was completed in an orderly fashion, declared Novas Medrano. The first call for the National Tests began on June 19 in the 18 regional educational districts with the administration of the tests to primary school students (eighth grade) and to adults at the tertiary school level, which concluded on June 22. The testing of secondary school students, under the general and technical professional modalities, continued between June 26 and June 29.
