The Ministry of Culture releases six books during the VIII Regional Book Fair

The Ministry of Culture, within the framework of the Regional Book Fair Espaillat 2012, makes a contribution to the literature of the northern region with the release of 6 new books.

The books are: “Bronces de la raza: lecturasacerca de la historia de América,” by distinguished Mocan educator Aurora TavárezBelliard; “Caja de papel,” illustrated poems by young JuditFernández from the Santiago province; and “Aída Cartagena, Hilma Contreras, Juan Bosch: al aguafuerte,” testimonial essays by Emelda Ramos.

The books were published by EditoraNacional, and include authors from the 14 provinces in the northern region of the country, whowill excel during the fair activities.

The books are: “Bronces de la raza: lecturasacerca de la historia de América,” by distinguished Mocan educator Aurora TavárezBelliard; “Caja de papel,” illustrated poems by young JuditFernández from the Santiago province; and “Aída Cartagena, Hilma Contreras, Juan Bosch: al aguafuerte,” testimonial essays by Emelda Ramos.

In addition, “Antología de la literaturacontemporánea en Moca,” a compilation of short stories and poems by Eugenio Camacho; “Antología del taller literario Triple Llama,” the most important in the Espaillat province; and “Másvoces del Valle, muestrario de lasletras del Cibao,” by IbethGuzmán, NoéZayas andTaty Hernández, a wide selection of poems, essays and narratives from all provinces in the northern region.
