2012 Symphony Season Ends with Gala Performance The magic of music was in the air at the last concert of the season given by the 2012 Symphony Orchestra as it performed under the direction of the maestro José Antonio Molina, titular director of the National Symphony Orchestra, soprano Paola González, baritone Jason Stearns and tenor Michael Daniel Bicoy who gave the best of themselves as they showed off the beauty of the orchestra’s musical sound. Between pieces, maestro José Antonio Molina appeared to be very satisfied with the support shown by the public at this grand evening. González captured the attention of viewers with his impeccable voice, as did Stearns and Daniel Bicoywho earned spontaneous applause from the audience in the middle of their performances. The voices of the Children’s Choir from the Modern Music Studies School sang with the Judicial Choir to recreate an atmosphere of pure harmony. Between pieces, maestro José Antonio Molina appeared to be very satisfied with the support shown by the public at this grand evening. The gala event, held at the Carlos PiantiniHall of the National Theater, was attended by representatives in the area of education, art, politics and business, according to a press communiqué from the Ministry of Culture’s Office of Communications. Since the beginning of the concert season, the public was treated to excellent performances given by a series of well-known national and international musicians. Molina said the 2012 Symphony Season is the result of three long years of hard work and daily effort along with the unbreakable desire to offer the most sophisticated artistic talent in each of their performances. | ||
