CODOCUL announces the opening of its first edition of the Popular Photo Contest for Dominicans “EXPRÉSATE” “EXPRÉSATE”
Nueva York, August 18, 2014 

The Ministryof Culture of the Dominican Republic, through the Dominican Cultural Commissioner in the United States(CODOCUL, by its Spanish acronym) announces the opening of the first edition of the Popular Photo Contest for Dominicans“EXPRÉSATE”, a contest for the Dominican community residing inthe United States and Puerto Rico.

The themeof the first editionis “My DominicanCulture“, where participants are encouraged to submit photographic images that reflect cultural values ??and everyday life of Dominicans living abroad. Three official prizes will be awarded as well as a fourth award, which will be given to the photo of the participant’s photography withthe most votes (me gusta/(like) through CODOCUL’s Facebook page.
 
Entries will be accepted until 6:00p.m. on Thursday, October 30th2014.Works received after that date and time will not be accepted,without exception.The winners will be announced on November 7,2014. For more informationon registration and contest rules please visit www.codocul.com.
