The historical narrative of Juan Bosch

The Dominican Commissioner of Culture in the United States and the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), taught the workshop “The narrative of Juan Bosch” by the prominent historian and professor Dominican Luisa Navarro.


The workshop will be held on 11, 12 and March 13, 2015, from 6 pm to 9 pm in the boardroom Andrés Francisco Requena, in the Commissioner’s office, located at 541 West 145th Street, 2nd. floor, near the corner of Broadway in Manhattan, New York.


The workshop includes fundamental issues about the work of Professor Juan Bosch, including: Workshops on central historical ideas of Bosch, creating ideas from participants on the thought of Bosch, reading passage Universal History, and reading passages History of the Far and Middle East.


Further reading passage history of the United States, workshop on passages of Latin American history, elucidations of the great historical thesis undertaken by Bosch and methodology of history, passenger reading History of the Caribbean, Dominican reading passage History dynamic double circle climbing own narrative, and discussion of the holistic paradigm Bosch construction.


Participants will also hear an address by Bosch to record the sequence of his narrative.


The workshop is coordinated by the School of History and Anthropology UASD, through the Office of International Relations at the University.


The contribution for the workshop is $ 40, and participants receive support materials and a diploma.

Oliva Tavares Luisa Navarro, Director of the School of History and Anthropology at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, did doctoral studies in Political Science at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, UNAM, with Ph.D degree in Latin American Studies, with medal Merit Promotion 1996, where he taught teaching at the BA in International Relations, Faculty of Political Science. During this time he also completed a major in Exercise Superior Teaching at the Center for the Study of Higher Education of the UNAM. Master in Social Sciences in the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences, FLACSO, Mexico-Costa Rica in promoting 1984-1986.
