This time the event will promote the vast and diverse cuisine of the Bávaro-Punta Cana destination for both visitors and residents of an area that has become the largest tourist development in the country. The 2015 Punta Cana Food & Wine Festival will take place in areas renowned by the quality of their cuisine, such as the Grand Iberostar Hotel and La Yola Restaurant at the Puntacana Resort & Club marina, which received 3 Diamonds from the American Automobile Association (AAA). It will be attended by international celebrities such as the Spanish chef Pepe Solla, who has a Michelin Star and three Repsol Soles, as well as by the local chefs of the Puntacana Resort & Club, under the leadership of Marco Antonio Paz. One of the most important new features is the incorporation of the area’s hotels and restaurants in a large cooking exhibition to be held at Espacio Tropicana, a new venue for entertainment in the heart of the tourist destination. Thus, both, the most demanding palates as the general public, will be able to enjoy a variety of activities at affordable prices. The Punta Cana Food & Wine Festival is organized by the Creato marketing agency; it is sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and has the support of the Hoteles del Este Association, the Puntacana Resort & Club, the Iberostar Hotels and the Plaza San Juan Shopping Center.
