Cultural gathering in New York: the Rhythm of Love and Friendship Performance: Music, Strokes, and Poetry

Books, lectures, inspirational phrases and publications concerning the life and work of patrician Juan Pablo Duarte are available for all audiences in a new web portal presented by the Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Margarita Cedeño, with the aim of promoting among youth the example, values and thoughts of the father of the nation.

Through the new portal Cedeño calls on youth to emulate the example of Duarte and strengthen in the popular imagination moral references to serve as a guide to their actions.

In order to celebrate friendship and love we have coordinated a great event with different artistic manifestation. Among the scheduled activities, the performance of artist Oscar Abreu, where he will be painting four pieces simultaneously. There will also be a coexistence of live music from violin and piano; poetry readings and more.

Mr. Félix García, poet and executive director of Trazarte explaining how wonderful the gathering allowing the public to enjoy a variety of art representations will be, said: “imagine the outstanding young musician Vladimir del Orbe, repeatedly rewarded for his compositions in Dominican Republic; the painter Oscar Abreu; and great and successful poets such as José Acosta, Claribel Díaz, Dagoberto López Coño, Yvelisse Fanith, Eduardo Lantígua, Karina Rieke, Osiris mosque and Félix García; all in the same stage. Fills us with great satisfaction since their presence, we guarantee the quality with which we respect and value the love of our supportive community “.
