La Romana, June 3, 2019 – The world famous Teeth of the Dog golf course, considered to be one of the finest courses in the world and situated in the Dominican Republic’s Casa de Campo resort, was the venue chosen to hold the classic Player’s Challenge.
This year, one of the tournament’s highlights was the presence and assistance of the organization “The Caddy Girls,” from Scottsdale, Arizona.
The tournament provided one hundred and twenty players a memorable day, providing them with experiences and activities provided by the tournament’s sponsors. Organized by LAB Events and Casa de Campo, the event once again proved that the Dominican Republic is by far one of the world’s top golf destinations.
The tournament began early in the day. Once the event kicked off, the players had to face an extremely hot – yet beautiful – day. However, the players managed to cool off thanks to the special round of scotch and other fine drinks, as well as hors d’oeuvres that were strategically situated throughout the golf course.
The players also got to enjoy a special demonstration of a fine collection of Chevrolet vehicles, in a special area set up near the golf course.
Julio Cross and Franklin Frías won the tournament’s top honors, with an overall score of 66. In Category A, George Bell and Luis Escolastico came in first place, with a net score of 65, followed by Pedro Peña and Francisco Rodríguez, who came in second with a 66.
Eddy Ureña and Cristian Eduardo won in Category B, with 61, while in Category C Víctor Piellis and Edwin Dominici won top honors.
The Caddy Girls participated in the entire event, helping the players make the best of their game.
