Santo Domingo, September 3, 2018 – The National Film Directorate (DGCINE), through its Training and Formation Department, the Miami Ad School Punta Cana and the Global Multimedia Institute (IGM) invite the general public to participate, free of charge, in the Entertainment Marketing Workshop that will take place on September 18-19 at the Global Democracy and Development Foundation (FUNGLODE) in Santo Domingo.
The 16-hour workshop will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The main speaker will be Professor Luis Miranda, with more than 15 years’ experience in Brand Strategy & Innovation in global scenarios.
“Our expectation is to bring together a talented group of individuals whose goal is to participate in an inspirational session where participants will debate and learn from real-life experiences that will help them improve their particular productions and the Dominican movie industry in general,” explained Luis Miranda.
José-Guillermo Díaz, director of the Miami Ad School Punta Cana, also stated that “…we hope this workshop contributes to the growth of the Dominican movie industry through the synergy created by a good cinema production and a creative communications strategy.”
During the Entertainment Marketing Workshop participants will be able to analyze some of the best strategies and examples used by Hollywood and Netflix. They will also learn how to apply Modern Brand Building and the creative strategies needed to promote films, a TV series and documentaries.
