The US Embassy Donates Projectors and Sheet Music to Museums, Libraries and Music Conservatory The Cultural Department of the Franklin Center of the United States Embassy donated several items in support of various areas of Dominican culture. The donations were handed over by Mr. Gary Keith, Director of the Franklin Center. The Embassy donated projectors for W340 video players to the Dominican National Library and the Museum of the Dominican Man. In both cases the projectors will be used to show American films among other educational, academic and cultural activities. The National Office of Music, under the direction of Maestro Caonex Peguero-Camilo, received a donation of a series of sheet music for piano, violin, viola and cello. The sheet music includes the works of such contemporary composers as Louis Moreau Gottschalk, Charles Ives, Charles Griffes and Scott Joplin among others. The sheet music will be distributed to the National Conservatory of Music, the Elila Mena Elementary School, the Music Department of the UASD and the Dina Studio of Musical Education. The donations were handed over by Mr. Gary Keith, Director of the Franklin Center. The donation to the Dominican National Library was received by Mr. Juan Freddy Armando and Dr. Juan Rodríguez received the donation for the Museum of the Dominican Man.
