CEI-RD Presents Research Done on Dominican Exports

The Center for Dominican Export and Investment (CEI-RD) and the Korean Institute for Development presented their report on Tuesday to Temístocles Montás, Dominican Minister of Economy, Planning and Development. The report is titled “Export Development for the Dominican Republic.”

Martínez said the report is based on three fundamental aspects for the country, which include: Macro-economic analysis, Industrial Structuring of Dominican Exports

Eddy Martínez, Director of CEI-RD, said the report will facilitate the Dominican Republic in reaching the goals it has identified in this area, according to the President’s Office of Information, Press and Publicity.

Martínez said the report is based on three fundamental aspects for the country, which include: Macro-economic analysis, Industrial Structuring of Dominican Exports and lessons from Korea’s successful economic model.

Based on these results, added Martínez, his ministry will seek to implement measures that will improve conditions in the country’s productive sector in order to reactivate Dominican exports, especially high quality, national products.
