Caledon Group to perform in Fine Arts Palace The British Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic and the Symphony Foundation announced the performance of the well-known Scottish group Caledon to be held in the Máximo Avilés Blonda Hall of the Fine Arts Palace on Wednesday September 16, 2009. Their training as classical singers and their already successful careers brought them together ten years ago in an effort to rescue and celebrate Scottish music. Caledon, comprised of the Three Scottish Tenors, Alan Beck, Jamie MacDougall, Ivan Sharpe and their musical director, Michael Burnett, has earned an enviable international reputation. In addition to this part of their repertory, they’re known for singing Puccini arias as well as modern songs including some Latin tunes, always entertaining and captivating their audience where ever they perform.
