The parade was led by the King and Queen of Carnival, Víctor Piñeiro and Isabel Domínguez, both well-known for their work and contributions to the world of culture. The event was attended by thousands of residents of the province of Santo Domingo North. The winning categories for the participating groups included “Popular Creativity.” “Fantasy,” “Traditional,” “Limping Devils,” “Historical,” and “Ali Baba.” In the individual categories, the “Individual Character” and “Individual Costume” were selected.
