G ol Airlines, an Argentine-registered airline company, announced that April will begin a period of direct charter flights to the Dominican Republic in a route from Buenos Aires-Sao Paulo (Brazil) to Punta Cana. The flights are the result a renewed agreement with Argentina’s main tour operators.

The agreement will be in effect with Argentina until December 18, 2010 when it can be renewed, thus guaranteeing a constant flow of tourists from this South American market.

The information was announced by Taty Font Bernard, Director of the Dominican Tourism Promotion Office (OPT) in Argentina. She said the flights will begin on April 10 and will continue until December 18.

The tour operators who signed the agreement with Gol, Argentine Airlines, include Solways, Barceló, Station, Cónsul, Julia, Iberojet, GRP on Line, Sol & Son, Ola & Free Way, who guarantee to fill the seats for the duration of the agreement.
