President Receives Credentials from Five New Ambassadors Five new ambassadors presented their credentials to Dominican President Leonel Fernández at a ceremony in Ambassadors Hall of the National Palace. The new Ambassadors are María Eugenia Barrios Alemán de Peña, from Honduras; Arturo Olivieri, from Italy; Soichi Sato, from Japan; Eduardo Alfredo Murga Rivas, from Venezuela and Deepak Kishinchand Bhojwani from India. The new Ambassadors are María Eugenia Barrios Alemán de Peña, from Honduras; Arturo Olivieri, from Italy; Soichi Sato, from Japan; Eduardo Alfredo Murga Rivas, from Venezuela and Deepak Kishinchand Bhojwani from India. María Eugenia Barrios Alemán de Peña is a medical doctor and general surgeon with specialization in Dermatology from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She served as an attaché of the Honduran Embassy in the Dominican Republic. Arturo Olivieri holds a Ph.D. in law with specialized studies in Diplomacy in his native Italy. Eduardo Alfredo Murga Rivas is a sociologist, having graduated from the Central University of Venezuela, with a specialization in Administration. In addition, he has held several academic posts in Venezuela’s capital, Caracas. Deepak Kishinchand Bhojwan graduated with a degree in Commerce and International Law in India and has served in the Foreign Service for more than 31 years. Soichi Sato, a graduate of the University of Tokyo, Japan, has held various posts in the Foreign Service of Japan as well as having served as Consul of Japan on five occasions in different countries. | ||
