Real Estate Tourism Grows in the Dominican Republic The president of the Dominican Association of Real Estate Tourism Agencies (ADETI), Juan Bancalari, stated that as tourism’s ‘all inclusive’ operational mode has changed, real estate tourism has grown, and its future prospects are very favorable. “Some of the real estate tourists are Dominicans who have learned to enjoy their country and invest in a second or third home, thereby creating capital investment,” Bancalari said that this sector is being increasingly appreciated by the Dominicans, to the point that 70% of investors are domestic. He also indicated that this interest has been driven by the large infrastructure projects that have taken place, such as roads and airports, which facilitate access to tourist areas. | ||
