First Tourism Calendar Published in the Dominican Republic.

EThe first even tourism calendar of the Dominican Republic was launched this year by the Gatsby Dominicana company. “Dominican  Republic 2011 Calendar,” contains a series of spectacular and diverse aerial photographs of the country’s most important tourism spots
The front cover of the calendar displays a panoramic veiw of the stunning Punta Espada Golf Course, the sandy beaches of Punta Cana and, on the back cover, Juanillo Beach.

Dominican Republic 2011 Calendar tiene un formato 8 ½ X 11, full color, ha contado con una tirada de 200,000.00 ejemplares en su primera edición.

The calendar also offers images of other places in the Dominican Republic known for their natural beauty, geographic content and tourism attraction such as  the Sand Dunes of Puerto Hermoso in Baní;  Loma el Morro in Montecristi; the Salto of Limón in Puerto Plata and the San Rafael Bay in Barahona.

Other photos in the calendar include aerial views of the Barceló Premium Punta Cana, the seaside Avenue in the capital city of Santo Domingo, rafting in the turbulent waters of the Yaque River North, the verdant Constanza Valley, Cabarette Beach, the white sands of Las Águilas Bay and a view of the Altos de Chavon Church.
In addition, the famous Heros of the Restoration Monument in Santiago and a panoramic view from the Cable Car of the Isabel de Torre Hill of Puerto Plata are also in the calendar.

There are 200,000 first edition copies of the full color Dominican Republic 2011 Calendar in circulation. The calendar is 8 ½ x 11 inches in size.
