The first play, “El Toro Bravo” (The Angry Bull) was based on Hato’s regional culture and cattle rustlers of the Eastern Region of the country. They also performed “La Mujer Amada,” (The Beloved Woman) which is a story of forbidden love. These first presentations are part of the “Sowing Theater Program,” which seeks to train children and young people around the country to form their own theater companies and to be actors in these local theater groups.
