Ada Balcácer, one of the most prominent Dominican artists and gallerists, will discuss the importance of work by artists of Dominican ancestry living and working in New York, incluiding artists trained through the Parson-Altos de Chavón partnership to the cultural, social, and economic developmet of the Domnincan Republic.


Master Balcácer will deliver her remarks in Spanish. Simultaneous English translation will be provided, The audience will have an opportunity to engage in a conversation with Master Balcácer during the Q&A session.
