The National Ballet and Contemporary Dance Troupe at the XIV International Book Fair

The cast of dancers from the National Ballet and the Contemporary Dance Company Troupe presented separate performances within the framework of the XIV International Book Fair, Santo Domingo 2011.

The Dance Troupe staged a fragment of “Sed”, currently in the staging process with the choreography of Mayra Bruno.

Immediately after, the audience enjoyed an outstanding presentation by the National Ballet of the following repertoire: “Chenche Matriculado,” “Naborio,” “Daca,” and “Danson.”

Both shows took place at the Luisito Marti Arena Theater, located within the fairgrounds, under the direction of professors Marinella Sallent and Marianela Boan.

These concerts and shows were held for the sole purpose of bringing joy and entertainment to the public that gathered at the Plaza de la Cultura Juan Pablo Duarte day after day, looking for safe and sound fun and entertainment.
