The agreements were signed by Education Minister, Josefina Pimentel, and president of the INICIA Foundation, Amelia Vicini Lluberes, at a ceremony in the Meeting Hall of the Education Ministry. The agreement governing organizational development and strengthening of human capital seeks to support MINERD’s project Manual of Placements, Profiles and Evaluation Model according to Competences, which is in keeping with requirements laid out by the Ministry of Public Administration (MAP). The budgetary support agreement is based on the identification of priority investment opportunities to guarantee the improved continuity of MINERD as an organization. This includes everything from its systems, processes and administrative tools to the support needed to enhance its management and teaching capacities in the schools. At the signing ceremony, Minister Pimentel expressed an interest in MINERD being in line with all of the requirements established in Public Service Law 41-08, which responds to modern procedure and values human resources. “I want to emphasize our interest in stimulating a close relationship with institutions and companies in our society in order to urge them to take on a higher level of social responsibility, to create synergy, sources for interchange, collaboration, technical assistance and the transfer of values to achieve efficacy in the administrative and management processes,” said Minister Pimentel.
