The Director of Training and Education, Rosa Elena Rodríguez, presided over the course along with the National Director of the Provinces, Domingo Guerrero, journalist José Rafael Sosa and technology expert, Nicolle Caraballo, one of the facilitators of the course. Twenty-five people attended the seminar and they all posed questions about how to establish communication with their surroundings through the use of technology; how to respond to the needs of new users; and how to develop communicative abilities like handling information through Information Technology. Ms. Caraballo emphasized that the world of communications has changed and that cultural management must have a place in social networks, blogs and web pages. She added that this type of interaction is crucial for written and digital media in this day of instant communication in that it is a reference on how current a story is, taking into account that email has turned into a form of personal digital identification around the world.
