Body Shop and Universidad Católica graduate first students 55 professionals received their diplomas in “Sport Science” studies The course is taught, among others, by Juan Carlos Santana, international trainer, with over 25 years of experience, who made all his knowledge in sports and physical training available to his students. Body Shop Athletic Club is a pioneer in providing training to physical trainers, elevating this profession to the status of a university degree. The athletic club proudly celebrated, in the Company of Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo, the first graduation ceremony of students obtaining a degree in “Sport Sciences: Health and Wellbeing”. They announce that the next installment will begin in November. During the ceremony, Body Shop Athletic Club was represented by engineer Anthony Bernal, president of the athletic club, and his wife, Mrs. Noris Rodríguez de Bernal. Universidad Católica Santo Domingo, was represented by its dean, Reverend Father Ramón Alonzo. With the degree in “Sports Sciences”, Body Shop and Universidad Católica, seek to enhance the quality and qualifications of professionals in the fitness industry. The degree in “Sports Sciences” proves that the frequency, intensity and duration of physical activities and workouts do have an impact on wellbeing. The degree in “Sport Sciences: Health and Wellbeing” was held in Body Shop Athletic Club facilities. The club is a nationwide pioneer in training technical personnel in the fitness industry.
