ARS Palic Salud, as part of its human resources support program – an important area for the development of any institution – sponsored the closing speech of the 10th National Congress of Human Resources Management, Generation NET: Redefining Human Resources Management.”

In charge of the talk, Carmen García, Disney Institute facilitator, spoke on “The Disney Model of Personnel Administration,” in which she explained the company’s best practices methods used in its efforts to improve how it does business.

At the opening activity, Dr. Andrés Mejía, Executive Vice President of ARS Palic Salud, said it was with great satisfaction for his company to be a part of this important event which each year unveils the newest approaches worldwide in the area of human resources.

“For us, the area of human resources in the backbone of the company, for this reason we are part of the Congress of Human Resources which is of essential importance in all issues regarding personnel.”

He said that, in addition to having the second-largest membership in the country, ARS is working to fulfill the vision of being the best and most trusted company but also the provider of the best services, all of which are part of the Disney personnel administration model.

The National Congress on Human Resources is one of the most important events in the Dominican Republic on a professional and business level. It brings together more than 400 executives in the area of human resources where they become acquainted with the newest tendencies in this area.

The speaker captured the attention of the audience as she talked practically about the different methods they use to make their employees clients of the company which, in turn, promotes a sense of solidarity and recognition of workers’ achievements.

She also emphasized that for all companies, a culture of success should be well designed, well defined, simple for everyone and objectives oriented.

In the area of effective communication, she added that the organization must solicit information from everyone, show people how they can contribute and satisfy the diverse needs of the employees, among other points.
