UNIBE Participates Hispanic University Association Conference in Texas Rector of the Iberoamericana University (UNIBE in Spanish), Dr. Julio Amado Castaños Guzmán, and Loraine Amell, Director of International Affairs, participated in the twenty fifth annual conference of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) held in San Antonio, Texas. HACU president, Dr. Antonio Flores, expressed his satisfaction that UNIBE became a member this year and was able to attend this annual conference. Over 300 member institutions took part in the conference. Important programs that will benefit member universities, students and professors were introduced at the numerous sessions and conferences. Contacts were also made with the main universities in San Antonio such as Trinity University, University of the Incarnate Word and the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, with the idea of exploring collaboration and exchange opportunities that will benefit the academic community of UNIBE and so that students and teachers of these universities can do academic projects in the Dominican Republic. | ||
