Dominican School Directors Travel to Korea for ICT Training The National Institute for Teacher Training and Education (INAFOCAM in Spanish) and the Computer Education Office of the Ministry of Education held a coordinating meeting with 12 school directors who will be traveling to South Korea to participate in an E-Learning Course which is part of the Exchange and Cooperation Program between the Dominican Republic and Korea 2011. William Ortiz, engineer and director of the Education Ministry’s computer education, briefed the teachers on climate and Korean culture so they will be better equipped to get the most from their ICT training experience. The 9-day trip is scheduled for November 28 to December 6. The object of the training is for Dominican school directors to improve coordination of technology applications in the areas of information and communication in the schools where they are directors. The following school directors are on the Korea trip: Franklin Antonio Cruz Hernández, Josefina A. García de Peña, Rhina Altagracia Figueroa Martínez, Grimilda Pascual, Ana Iris Luciano Portes, Johnson Emilio Pringle Mc Donald, Pedro Antonio Núñez Cruz, Bernardino Santos Martínez, Julio César Zayas Ramírez, Julio Ramón Almonte Pérez, Eladia Paulina Rodríguez de Ortega and Nelson Rafael López Goris.
