Three exhibitions remain open at the Museum of Modern Art The individual exhibitions “Ensimismado” by Raúl Morilla, “¿Quiéntiene la razón?” by Carlos Hinojosa, and “Retrospectiva” by José Rincón Mora, willremain open to the public until the end of February at the Museum of Modern Art (MAM for its acronym in Spanish). The Museum of Modern Art of the Dominican Republic, located at Avenida Pedro Henríquez Ureña, Plaza de la Cultura Juan Pablo Duarte, is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The title of the exhibition by Carlos Hinojosa is ¿Quiéntiene la razón? and some of the pieces from the latest creations by the Dominican plastic artist are being displayed on the first floor of MAM. Simultaneously, “Ensimismado” by Raúl Morillahas been scheduled to be exhibited in the Project Room,where the artist will present a video that evokes the individualism, alienation and selfishness in which mankind currently lives, which has led to affectingeven nature and having it playing a part too. Meanwhile the exhibition “Retrospectiva” by José Rincón Mora, in which the artist, with a mystical character, presents more than one hundred pieces, including objects of art and architectural projects displayed in interesting scaled models that are showcased in the second level of MAM.
