UNIBE signs agreement with Valencia College in Orlando Florida Universidad Iberoamericana(UNIBE) announced the signing of an agreement with Valencia College in Orlando, Florida,for adegree in Tourism and Hospitality Businesses Management.Through this agreement, UNIBE students in the hospitality and tourism degree maypursue associate degrees at Valencia College in the various food and beveragesdisciplines, including: culinary arts, restaurant management, event planning, and baking and pastry, in addition to the B.A. degreethey currently are enrolled in at UNIBE. UNIBE’s students will experience receiving an education in two differentenvironments that arefull of tourist development and tradition: Cap Cana and Orlando, thereby complementing their academic life experiences. The program includes the 3 and a half years at UNIBE, where studentsearn a Bachelor degree inTourism and Hospitality Business Management, and then they may travel to Valencia College to pursue a complementarydegree, entirely in English, for 6 months. Effective immediately, this agreement allows UNIBE students to deepen their knowledge in the area of ??gastronomy at an institution worthy of the Aspen Prizefor Community College Excellence, and which is ranked among the best in the country where it is located, and which shares with UNIBE an educational approach focused on the student. With this program UNIBE allows its students to receive training in gastronomy with a view to discovering, testing, experimenting, investigating, understanding and writing professionally about food, the human sensory qualities, and the culture of tasteas interrelated disciplines.
