Culture Ministry and INFOTEP Certify Specialized Trainers

Twenty nine participants were certified in the “Methodological Training for Facilitators” workshop, the goal of which was to give professionals the necessary competence to transmit knowledge.  The workshop was given by Professor Santos Moreta, of the General Directorate of INFOTEP’s Virtual Training and Formation.

The certification ceremony was presided over the Deputy Minister of Institutional Development, Mateo Morrison; National Coordinator of Virtual Training, Alexis de la Rosa; Director of Training and Education of the Ministry of Culture, Rosa Elena Rodríguez and Ondina Matos, Director of National Lyric Company.

Welcoming words were spoken by Rosa Elena Rodríguez and the keynote address was given by Alexis de la Rosa, National Coordinator of Virtual Training of INFOTEP.

“The biggest challenge of an organization is it efficient functioning, like the Ministry of Culture which fulfills its commitment to serve the citizenry, including training and specialized courses. These are just a grain in the sand at the foot of a huge mountain that is waiting to be climbed,” said Mr. Rodríguez.

Aurora Andreina Jiménez Soto, speaking on behalf of the participants, expressed appreciation for the course they received. The event ended with an artistic presentation by Ondina Matos of the National Lyric Company.
