Museum of Modern Art Extends Exhibitions

The Museum of Modern Art decided to extend the one-person shows of  Raúl Morilla´s “Ensimismado” and José Rincón Mora´s “Retrospective” due to their overwhelming success.

Raúl Morilla´s video installation, “Ensimismado” in which the artist presents a proposal that evokes individualism, alienation and the egotism in which characterizes human  beings these days and which has led the human race to such extremes that we are affecting the nature around us to do its part as well. This show has been extended to the beginning of May.

José Rincón Mora´s “Retrospective” was extended until March 31st. In this show, Mora displays over a hundred pieces including objects of art and architectural projects set up in interesting maquetas that are being shown on the second floor of the Museum.

The Museum of Modern Art (MAM in Spanish) is located on Pedro Henríquez Ureña Avenue, Juan Pablo Duarte Culture Plaza. The Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
