One Day on Earth Dominican Republic invites you to attend the local screening of the documentary film One Day on Earth, as part of Earth Day activities. This film will be simultaneously featured, on the same day, in a hundred other countries. It would be an honor for us to have you here.

In this film Director Kyle Ruddick creates a portrait of humanity during a 24 hourperiod in all countries of the world. Using material filmed on October 10, 2010, he explores highly diverse, never-before seen perspectives on screen. The film portrays people and events as they evolve over the course of a single day, intertwined with a broad global setting, where difficulties are extreme and deep tragedies occur throughout the world. It also takes a look at hopeful and optimistic courses of action the world could undertake, in a cooperative effort, so that we can all have a better future.
