Starting on Monday, July 2, 2012, the Office of the First Lady and the Dominican Republic’s Children and Youth Library will hold the Fourth Edition of the Biblio-Verano 2012 Children and Youth Camp. This year, the camp will include 5, 6, and 7-year old boys and girls in its 2:00 p.m schedule. Children between the ages of 8 and 13 years of age will start their activities at 8:30 in the morning, with games that are both healthy and entertaining.

The fourth edition of Biblio-Verano will provide the opportunity to address the importance of recycling in a general way. Every day, emphasis will be placed on a specific topic and on the best uses of recycling.

The children of the families with which the Office of the First Lady has been working will participate, as well as the library users who reside in San Carlos, Gazcue, Villa Juana, Villa Consuelo, Don Bosco, and Ciudad Nueva.

The activities programed in each of the library sections will be related to the central theme. They will include a selection of films and documentaries on the environment, which will be approached from different angles, and other age-appropriate films.
