ProDanCo Premieres a New Piece by Marianela Boan

Following several successful presentations at International Festivals in Costa Rica and Spain, the Contemporary Dance Project of the Dominican National Ballet, or ProDanCo, will premiere part of their new show with several performances at the Máximo Aviles Blonda Hall of the Palace of Fine Arts on August 3, 4 and 5. The show, known as “Las medidas de la brisa” and directed by Marianela Boán, will be put on by the same cast of dancers as their SED piece.

Price: RD$250. Performance times: Friday & Saturday 8:30 p.m. Domingo at 6:30 p.m.

Music will be provided by young singer/songwriter, Janio Lora, and costumes are being done by the outstanding designer, Jenny Polanco.

In the first part of the show, they will present, “Las medidas de la brisa.”  For the second half, Janio Lora will give a live concert during which everyone in the audience is invited to come up to the stage and dance with the members of ProDanCo.
