The Dominican Republic’s National Day Is Celebrated At The Expo 2012 Yeosu, Korea

As part of the celebration of the International Fair, Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea, representatives of the Dominican Republic celebrated its National Day with a delegation of that Caribbean country, led by the Minister of the Environment and Natural Resources, Eng. Ernesto Reyna Alcántara, attending the event.

The celebration of the Dominican Republic’s National Day was attended by distinguished personalities hosting this important international event, led by the Commissioner-General of the Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea, Lee Hoon-Hee.

The Dominican delegation was integrated by the Deputy Minister of Education and Environmental Information, AmarilisPolonia, and by the Dominican Republic’s Ambassador in Seoul, Korea, Fior Pichardo.

The celebration of the Dominican Republic’s National Day was attended by distinguished personalities hosting this important international event, led by the Commissioner-General of the Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea, Lee Hoon-Hee.

The program of activities for that day included a presentation by the Ballet FolkloricoNacional, which includedtraditionalDominican songs, tasting of Dominican food and the screening of a promotional video to be shown tothe public attending the fair, and which will reveal the beauty of our beaches, our beautiful coastline, the culture and the activities characteristic of our own people. The promotional video isentitled: The Dominican Republic has it all.
