The Ministry of Culture, the León Jiménes Foundation, Monte Sacro andSymphony Foundation cordially invite the general public to enjoy String Section of the Dominican Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Kurt Nikkanen, Concert Master of the New York City Ballet Orchestra at Lincoln Center.

The concert will take place next Monday, December 3rd at 8:00pm in Enriquillo Sánchez Auditorium in the Ministry of Culture as part of the closing of the Strings Workshop of the Dominican Young Philharmonic Orchestra …

The concert will take place next Monday, December 3rd at 8:00pm in Enriquillo Sánchez Auditorium in the Ministry of Culture as part of the closing of the Strings Workshop of the Dominican Young Philharmonic Orchestra, which will take place from November 29th through December 2nd, 2012 in Polo, Barahona.

The program will start with Mozart’s EineKleineNachtmusik, Double Concert for Violin, Oboe, Strings and Continuous in Re minor, BWV 1060 J.S. BACH with soloists Kurt Nikkanen and “Chichi” Kulenovich and will conclude with Dvo?ák’s Opus 22 String Serenade.

This concert is open to the public and has the support of YOA Orchestra of the Americas, the National Conservatory of Music and the National Youth Symphony Orchestra Foundation.
