The second edition of the “DominicanaModa 2007” (Dominican Fashion 2007), the greatest fashion show in the Dominican Republic will take place at the Embajador Hotel from September 4th to September 8th.

21 runways will be presented during the event which will count with the best-known national designers as well as international guests. DM07 is officially sponsored by the Chain Occidental Hotels & Resorts, Pantene and Brugal.

In addition to the fashion show, this year’s DM07 inaugurates the “Pantene Station” (Carpa Pantene). Here, the public will have the opportunity to see and purchase fashion accessories, just like in the famous fashion weeks worldwide.

The Dominican designers participating this year are: Jenny Polanco, Giannina Azar, Robert Flores, Jorge Diep, Arcadio Díaz, Marisol Henríquez, Martín Polanco, Luis Meniuer, Magali Tiburcio, Belkola, Camila Casual, Hipólito Peña and Gutierrez-Marcano. In addition, the Dominicans Ana Montan and Cenia Paredes from New York will also attend.

The DM 2007 will present for the first time, collective runways from new designers at noon. The participants are: Cynthia Avelino, Viviana Rodríguez, Carla Carbonell, Luisa Cuevas, Laura Guerrero, Jacqueline Then, Moisés Quezada, Adela Dore, Carlos de Moya, Larissa Salcedo and Solange Sagrado.
