Expo “Un libro llamado canción (A book called song)” by Daniel Mordzinski at the MAM For Spanish writer, translator and contemporary journalist, José Manuel Fajardo, in this exhibit, Daniel Mordzinski demonstrates that he not only knows how to look at but also how to listen to the historical time in which he is living. Photo enthusiasts will appreciate a selection of photos of artists, writers and actors, including RaúlZurita, Julio Cortázar, Rafael Alberti, Jorge Luis Borges, Gabriel GarcíaMárquez, Mario Benedetti, Daniel Samper, Joan Manuel Serrat, Joaquín Sabina and Héctor Abad Faciolince, Eduardo Berti and Gonzalo Rojas. For Spanish writer, translator and contemporary journalist, José Manuel Fajardo, in this exhibit, Daniel Mordzinski demonstrates that he not only knows how to look at but also how to listen to the historical time in which he is living. Fajardo adds that “Mordzinskipays tribute to musicians from all over the world, from the Greek Theodorakis, who transformed Neruda’s Canto General into a cantata, to SpaniardJoaquín Sabina, whose songsenter in their own right in the field of poetry;Serrat, who accompanied Antonio Machado in his journey; Luis García Montero, who wrote some Rock verses on the death of a colleague, in tribute to classic Jorge Manrique.” The exhibition will remain open to the public until July 14 at the Museum of Modern Art of the Dominican Republic, located on Ave Pedro HenríquezUreña, Plaza de la Cultura Juan Pablo Duarte, behind the National Theatre. |
