Fourteenth “Santo Domingo Jazz Festival Casa de Teatro 2013” Schedule Announced

The fourteenth Santo Domingo Jazz Festival 2013 by the Casa de Teatro has a luxurious line-up this year, with groups from the Americas and Asia. The event, one of the genre’s most important of the city, will take place between July 4th and August 1st.

Every Thursday in July and the first Thursday of August, at 9:00 pm in the Casa de Teatro’sCristóbal de Llerena hall, and on the big screen in the Café Theater bar …

Casa de Teatro’s Santo Domingo Jazz Festival started in the year 2000 and supported Dominican bands while providing an opportunity for people to enjoy national and international jazz at affordable prices.

A goal of this festival is to help new Dominican jazz talents grow, as well as help the growth of those previously established. With fourteen festivals we have had the participation of musicians and embassies from countries such as: Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, France, England, United States, Spain, Venezuela, Israel, Chile and Brazil, among others.

Every Thursday in July and the first Thursday of August, at 9:00 pm in the Casa de Teatro’sCristóbal de Llerena hall, and on the big screen in the Café Theater bar, the Festival will put on great musicians and their bands for its traditional and faithful public, with the following schedule:

Tickets will be on sale in the Casa de Teatro for RD$500 pesos for Theater Hall tickets and RD$300 pesos for the Café Theater bar, and for the special function in Santiago.
