Culture released into circulation issues number 13 and 14 of the magazine “País Cultural”

The Library of the Ministry of Culture, located in the Las Atarazanas of the Colonial City, was the setting of the ceremony to release into circulation two editions –numbers thirteenth and fourteenth- of the magazine “País Cultural,” event that was attended by renowned writers and young lovers of literature and the arts.

Basilio Belliard, Director of Literary Management at the Ministry, together with writers Manuel Salvador Gautier, Eleanor Grimaldi Silié, Eduardo Lantigua and Teo Terrero, Director of Public Relations at the Ministry, were in charge of the event.

In his speech, Belliard pointed out that the use of new information and communication technologies represents a false illusion that we are arriving to an egalitarian social order.
“This thought comes to mind in regard to the interview with French philosopher Alain Badiou that we have published, and which serves as the core of this issue of País Cultural,” the writer stated.

Other works that appear in this issue of the magazine are: La poesía del resentimiento, by Mario Bojórquez; Pedazos de sueño, by Eulogio Javier; Arquitectura y literatura: Una experiencia y un compromiso, by Manuel Salvador Gautier; and En cada juglar que cante (espinela), by César Sánchez Beras.
This edition is dedicated to Fernando Peña Defilló. Young Cristián Rodríguez was responsible for the design and layout.
