The Ministry of Culture offers workshop on “Narrative Techniques”

The Ministry of Culture, through the Directorate General of Books and the National Literary Workshops System, offers a course-workshop on “Narrative Techniques.” The workshop takes place every Friday.

The objective of these workshops is to provide participants with effective techniques to enrich their work.

Eulogio Javier and Valentín Amaro indicated that it is the wish of the Ministry of Culture that the participants adopt these strategies to develop short stories, novels and other literary genres, so that they may use them in their literary works.”

The textbook for the course is “Los desafíos de la ficción (The challenges of fiction),” a compilation ??by Cuban writer Eduardo Heras León. The course activities will include the study and discussion of the book chapters and readings for the collective critique of the works that emanate during the workshop.

This workshop is totally free of charge and will be held every Friday during the event Taller Narradores de Santiago. The venue is the Library of Culture, which is located on the Las Atarazanas St, No. 2 in the Colonial City.
