CONIAF and ANPA Agree to Train Professionals in Agriculture Sector of Country The National Council on Agricultural and Forestry Research (CONIAF in Spanish) and the National Association of Agricultural Professionals (ANPA) signed a collaboration agreement to collectively develop an educational program of masters, doctorates and other training necessities that may be required by the national agricultural network. Any agricultural professional who inquires may participate because CONIAF will cover the costs of teaching, coordinating, and all materials necessary for the process of transferring technologies … Any agricultural professional who inquires may participate because CONIAF will cover the costs of teaching, coordinating, and all materials necessary for the process of transferring technologies generated by the National Network of Agricultural and Forestry Research (SINIAF in Spanish). On the other hand, ANPA has promised to be the executor of any activities, projects or programs, be they technical, trade union or educational in nature, that are designed to develop agricultural professionals that will help with national development. The agreement was signed by engineers Juan Modesto Chávez Vargas, executive director of CONIAF, and Andrés Gómez, president of ANPA, in a ceremony held at the main office of the union. They talked about how this agreement was an Act of Joint Management between ANPA and CONIAF, with the goal of getting agricultural professionals to obtain new knowledge about the different sectors in order to assist other national agricultural producers, as well as enabling them to be better at their jobs. During the signing of the agreement, members of the Executive Committee of the organization were present, as well as a technical team made up of CONIAF’s Executive Directors Board. |
