Johan Paulino surprises with a romantic bachata

Known for a long time as a representative of the pop ballad, Christian singer Johan Paulino has now surprised the audience with a musical proposal with new colors in his new single titled “Mi Compañera (My Companion).”

The theme is a romantic bachata that has created a buzz among the local Christian music world. It is part of Paulino’s repertoire that includes arrangements by maestro Adiel Santana, and which will soon be playing on radio stations.

“It is a romantic pop bachata love theme. I wrote it inspired by my beloved wife Abiud García, and in it I try to reflect only part of what she has meant to me during the time of our marriage,” said the singer, who was selected as the “Best Male Singer” during the latest El Galardón Awards.

Accustomed to navigating the ballad style with his earlier musical works, this experiment surprises with the vernacular rhythm of this Christian interpreter, who still occupies the top positions in the popularity charts, thanks to his singing qualities, impressive lyrics and humility as a human being.

“The main message of ‘Mi Compañera’ is that people understand that you can have one relationship based on love and primarily on God,” said the young artist who, because of his great works during the past year, is a strong candidate to be taken into account among the nominees to the Sovereign Awards in the Christian music genre.

“I think that we, as followers of Jesus, we must provide an example that such marriages can work the way God wants them to. In reality not everything is rosy, because as human beings we have faults and having to accept those of others is not easy at all, but when God is at the center of your marriage, everything becomes more bearable,” he said.

Johan Paulino has just performed in a successful concert before a full house in the Mahanaim Auditorium in the capital city, where he took the opportunity to launch his latest album titled “God is with You.”
