Invitation to a Christmas Event in Chinatown

If you you’d like to spend and pleasant evening listening to Christmas Carols and seasonal songs, join us in Chinatown on Duarte St, corner of Mexico on Sunday December 16. We are holding a cultural presentation with the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), Rondalla University and other folk groups who will surely delight us with their music and theater.

Chinatown will be converted into a multicultural space at the service of the Dominican people. Walk down the Chinese Commercial Street of Duarte, admire our doors, take a photo with the famous Chinese lions and, while you’re at, come over to Confucius Plaza and learn some of his wisdom.

Beginning at 9:00 in the morning we will have fresh and inexpensive vegetables, herbs and spices and to cure anything that ales you including keeping the evil eye at bay. We’ll be serving Cantonese food with all the affection and attention you deserve. The Show at the UASD will begin at 5:00 PM and is free of charge and open to all.
