“Anthology of the Latin American Song” at the Alcázar de Colón The Ministry of Culture, the Alcázar de ColónMuseum and opera singer Fausto Cepeda,will present this Thursday, July 24th, the concert titled “Anthology of the Latin American Song”. It will start at 8:00 pm in the courtyard of Plaza España The audience will be able to enjoy, free of charge,Cepeda’s voicesinging Boleros such as “Perfume de gardenia”, “Nosotros”, “Perfidia” and “Amorosa”, among others. The concert is produced by Cepeda. He will perform Boleros that have left great memories and emotions in the audience. The songs originated in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Cepeda will be accompanied by an orchestra of musicians and a group of dancers, led by Servio Uribe, who will also recite four poems. The audience will be able to enjoy, free of charge,Cepeda’s voicesinging Boleros such as “Perfume de gardenia”, “Nosotros”, “Perfidia” and “Amorosa”, among others. Cepeda says that he was inspired to carry out this concert because music is an essential part of culture and Bolero has a rich history. Raysa Astacio, Director of the Alcázar de Colón Museum, said that it is a privilege for the institution to have the opportunity to host Fausto Cepeda on the evening of Thursday, July 24th, with this Anthology of the Latin American Song. |
