The comedy ‘El daño que hacen los celos’ will be presented at the Dominican Commissioner of Culture The Experimental Community Theatre (TEC for its acronym in Spanish) will present the comedy “El daño que hacen los celos” (The hurt that jealousy causes) at the Dominican Commissioner of Culture in the United States. The event will take place on Friday, October 10th and Saturday, October 11th at 8 pm in the Andrés Francisco Requeña events room at the Commissioner’s office, located at 541 West 145th Street, 2nd. floor, near the corner with Broadway, in Manhattan, New York. (Subways 1, A, B, C, and D at the 145th Street station). “El daño que hacen los celos”, by playwright George Carlo and a free adaptation of Elías Balladares, shows in a fun way what happens when a foolishly jealous husband finds his wife “apparently” with other men. Oscar Murillo is the play’s executive director and the artistic direction is the responsibility of Luis Felipe Rodríguez. The play includes Dominican, Ecuadorian and Puerto Rican artists, and actors Oscar Morillo, Edison Carrera, Génesis Tavares, Ionesco Cabrera, Agar García, Raúl Rivera and Yudelca Gómez.
