ITSC Students in Barcelona The School of Photography at Instituto Técnico Superior Comunitario ITSC opened a photography exhibition at the Grisart School of Photography in the city of Barcelona on Monday, May 4. The exhibition, entitled “There is a country in the world”, is made of thirty-two photographs which showcase part of the Dominican culture, its landscapes, carnivals, and city life, among others. The delegation is headed by the Administrative Vice Chancellor, Architect Julio Peña and Juan Carlos Fernández, Coordinator of the school of photography. They are accompanied by nine students currently studying photography at the ITSC: Ysabel Paula, Eliasiris Quezada, Daigoro Sánchez, Raúl Rodríguez, Molly de la Rosa, Jennifer Encarnación, Eliezer Matos, German Bello and Eduberkis Turbi, who are also participating in an academic and cultural program in this city. The Director of the Grisart International School of Photography, Mr. Albert Gussi, welcomed them and appreciated the photographic quality of the students, along with the color strength and warmth of the Dominican landscapes. The opening of the exhibition was attended by a large group of people, including Dominican students living in this city and officials of the Grisart School and the University of Barcelona. Photos |
