National Council of Free Trade Zones Hosts Investment Forums in Germany

The National Council of Free Trade Zones held two forums on investment in the field of free trade zones in the cities of Hamburg and Stuttgart, Germany, as part of its 2015 promotion program.

The event was coordinated by Lateinamerika Verein Hamburg, an association of German companies in that city with interests and businesses in Latin America, which also supported the event; and the forum in Stuttgart took place with the assistance and contribution of Baden-Wuttemberg International, the International Agency for Economic Development and Scientific Cooperation in this region of Germany.

The Dominican mission was headed by the Executive Director of the National Council of Free Trade Zones, Luisa Fernández, as well as by the President of Laboratorios Rowe, Rodolfo Wehe; Hector Tamburini, from Puerto Multimodal; and, Carlos Flaquer, from Centro Logístico Caucedo, in addition to promotion specialists from the National Council of Free Trade Zones.

Attendees received information on the incentives being offered to companies operating under the free trade zone system, as well as on the facilities being offered by the Puerto Multimodal and Centro Logístico Caucedo.
